De Mori wins after opponent pulls out injured

Perth heavyweight boxer Mark De Mori extended his record to 21 wins, one loss and two draws with a fourth-round TKO victory over Jonathan Pasi in Germany this morning.

De Mori, ranked No15 by the World Boxing Association, took the decision in the eight-rounder after his opponent pulled out with an injured shoulder. The referee had the fight level at the time it ended.

According to BoxRec, Pasi (22-27-2) - a Congo-born German - had lost his previous five, including his last two to debutants.

De Mori, who is on his honeymoon in Europe, is scheduled to fight twice more in Germany this month, although no opponents have been confirmed.
