Wicketkeeper Brad Haddin left the field with an apparent hamstring injury during Australia's one-day international against Sri Lanka on Sunday.

Haddin departed Adelaide Oval after the 19th over, meaning first-choice gloveman Matthew Wade will likely return for the remainder of the one-day series.

The 35-year-old Haddin was included in Australia's team for the initial two one-dayers as Wade was rested.

In game two on Sunday, Haddin top-scored with 50 runs as Australia were bowled out for 170.

But Haddin was notably hampered by injury during the Sri Lankan innings, repeatedly failing to run up to the stumps when balls were fielded.

Australia will name its squad for the third and fourth games of the series on Monday, with Mitchell Johnson also under an injury cloud.
