Pick the Wildcats wonder team and win

No-one can doubt the success of the Perth Wildcats. For a generation they have been near or at the top of the NBL.

A host of players have passed through, each having their role in maintaining WA's premier basketball team as a competition force.

As part of the club's 30th anniversary celebrations the Wildcats want to recognise some of the outstanding talent to have pulled on their jerseys.

To coincide with a gala breakfast next month, the Wildcats will announce an All-Stars line-up consisting of the best players to have represented the club.

Championship coach Adrian Hurley, veteran commentator and WA basketball great John Gardiner and thewest.com.au online sports editor Ross Lewis have been entrusted with the task of choosing the Wildcats wonder team.

Following a short list of players, the panel must come up with a starting five, consisting of a centre, two forwards and two guards as well as a bench based on similar lines.

If you can guess the final line-up - starting five and bench five in positional order - you could win tickets to the Wildcats' clash with Adelaide on February 8. We have five sets of four-seat passes to give away to winning entries.

All you have to do is send in your team to onlinesport@wanews.com.au by Friday February 1. Please include full name, address and phone number.
