Callum Sinclair maintained his tremendous WAFL pre-season form with another dominant effort for Subiaco against Claremont at Medibank Stadium on Saturday.
The 23-year-old Port Melbourne recruit had 24 possessions, eight marks, 20 hit-outs and kicked three goals.
But premiers Claremont still won, 15.5 (95) to 14.4 (88).
Sinclair was West Coast's first pick and No.12 overall in the rookie draft at the end of last year, perceived by many to be a back-up ruckman for Eagles pair Dean Cox and Nic Naitanui.
He had 40 hit-outs, 23 possessions and three goals the previous week.
Paul Medhurst made an encouraging return for the Tigers in his first pre-season match.
Shayne Nelson and Steven Browne were prominent in West Perth's 14.10 (94) to 13.7 (85) win over Peel at Bendigo Bank Stadium, where Fremantle squad members Jessie Crichton, Viv Michie and Jack Hannath caught the eye for the Thunder.
AFL squad members Cameron Sutcliffe, Garrick Ibbotson and Sam Menegola (Dockers) and Bradd Dalziell (West Coast) fared well in East Fremantle's 17.8 (110) to 11.7 (73) win against Perth at Brownes Stadium.Bernie Naylor medallist Ben Saunders kicked three goals and Eagles small forward Ashton Hams five in South Fremantle's 18.8 (116) to 11.9 (75) victory over Swan Districts at Fremantle Oval.
