Essendon have cut flashy forward Kyle Reimers and midfielder Sam Lonergan.
Reimers, 23, kicked 69 goals in 60 AFL games with the Bombers over six seasons, but managed only five senior games this year.
Lonergan, 25, played 79 games since making his AFL debut in 2006, including 14 in 2012.
The Bombers, who picked up St Kilda star Brendon Goddard as a free agent, had already delisted Henry Slattery while Mark McVeigh retired and forward Angus Monfries joined Port Adelaide.
Geelong have confirmed the delistings of young defender Tom Gillies and veteran ruckman Orren Stephenson.
The cuts follow the recruitment of ruckman Hamish McIntosh from North Melbourne and backman Jared Rivers from Melbourne during the recent AFL trade and free agency periods. The Cats had viewed Gillies, 22, as a potential long-term replacement for newly-retired star defender Matthew Scarlett and resisted a Hawthorn attempt to recruit him in a trade last year.
But the arrival of Rivers, 27, has prompted them to give up on Gillies, who played just 13 AFL games in three seasons, most recently in round 10 this year.
Stephenson, 30, was plucked out of the VFL by the Cats in last year's national draft as a back-up ruckman and played eight AFL games.
Those delistings follow the retirements of Scarlett, David Wojcinski and Simon Hogan, while Shannon Byrnes has joined Melbourne and the Cats have also cut Jonathan Simpkin from their rookie list.
Hawthorn delisted premiership forward Michael Osborne, who ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament early this season.
But Osborne, 30, who is continuing his rehabilitation, will continue to train with the club in the hope of regaining a spot on the list during the pre-season draft in December.Richmond have cut key-position prospect Jayden Post, who played 30 senior games over four seasons after being taken at No.26 in the 2008 national draft.
