Luke Blackwell's hopes of winning consecutive Sandover Medals were dashed after he was suspended for three games for striking East Fremantle's Richard Hadley.

The Claremont centreman, who had never been reported before, pleaded guilty at the WAFL tribunal last night.

He will miss two WAFL games and tomorrow night's Foxtel Cup grand final against Werribee.

Hadley, a teammate of Blackwell's at Carlton in 2008, suffered a fractured eye socket and needed seven stitches after the incident at Claremont Oval last Saturday.

He will miss up to three weeks.

Perth defender Chris Billings was cleared of a rough conduct against East Perth's Luke Sampey at Brownes Stadium last Saturday.

It was Billings' seventh report or investigation of the 2012 season. Perth utility player Simon Tunbridge pleaded guilty to striking Royals midfielder Nick Kommer and received a reprimand.

East Perth co-captain Michael Swan was given a reprimand on one rough conduct charge while another was withdrawn.
