Students started their final year of high school with sparkle as they stepped onto the red carpet to walk into the South West Italian Club for their big event.
More than 200 students turned out for the ball, which had a fun theme of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
There were plenty of glamorous dresses, while the boys were also decked out smartly among the 240 students.
Year 12 coordinator David Norrish said the students had a great night.
“It was a good start to the year for the school’s students, ” he said.
Bunbury Catholic College principal Denise O’Meara agreed.
“The students had a wonderful night and looked very glamorous, ” Ms O’Meara said.
“It was great to see them having so much fun at the beginning of what will be a busy year for them.”
The venue was decorated to match the children’s book classic, channelling Gene Wilder’s 1971 Wonka costume of purple and gold.
While no one dressed as Wonka, students made memorable entrances in vintage cars, limousines and even a bus.See more pictures from the ball in this Thursday’s South Western Times
