After 13 years at the helm of Bunbury Hockey President Rob McNab has handed the reins over to hockey stalwart Dean Lomax.
Rob has overseen the installation of two international standard artificial turfs as well as dedicated worker, umpire and player, overseeing the development of the local association.
New President Dean Lomax congratulated Rob on his efforts and said it was due to his leadership that the Bunbury Hockey Stadium and its facilities are recognised as some of the best in Australia.
Having played hockey for over 35 years, new President Dean Lomax said he wanted to see clubs working closely together, and promoting the sport to as wide an audience as possible.
In a press release he said that he loved hockey, and that he was looking forward to not only attracting new players but also getting players who may not have played for few years to get involved.
He said that there were very proactive programs running which had seen new players give hockey a go, and these needed to be developed further. If you would like further information about hockey you can contact Sue Neaves on 97955160.
