A new miniature golf course is being constructed at the Bridgetown Golf Club and should be open before Christmas.
Called the Putter’s Garden, the nine-hole course will be set in a garden complete with a water feature and shaded paved areas, according to secretary Alan Wilson.
“The grand opening is expected in the New Year but work is being fast tracked to get the course ready for the Christmas break.”
The Putter’s Garden will be open to the public and available for corporate and social gatherings, offering the chance to practice putting while enjoying the club’s facilities, he said.
Club member Shane Apps designed the course and is building it with other volunteers.'The West Australian' is a trademark of West Australian Newspapers Limited 2013.
