Australia Day set to sizzle
The barbies will not be the only things sizzling on Australia Day in Bunbury, with the Weather Bureau predicting temperatures in the mid-to-high 30s over the next seven days.
The mercury is expected to reach 35C today before climbing to 37C tomorrow and on Thursday for Australia Day.
While humid conditions are expected to ease on Thursday, the weekend will provide no respite from the heat wave, with 38C predicted for Friday and Saturday.Follow thewest.com.au on Twitter
