Busselton motorists should brace for delays on Causeway Road today as roadworks to widen the thoroughfare continue.

City of Busselton engineering and works services director Oliver Darby said the upgrade, focused on the mid and northern section of the road, would continue into next week when new curbing was installed.

“Given the high volume of traffic on this road we have deliberately programmed work for this time of year while conditions are still dry but the holiday rush is over,” he said.
