A bushfire emergency warning has been issued for people between Marriott Road and Treasure Road, east of Old Coast Road, 6km north of Australind in the Shire of Harvey

You are in danger and need to act immediately to survive. There is a threat to lives and homes.

If you live to the north of Marriott Road, travel north and if you live south of Marriott Road, travel south.

Old Coast Road (the Perth to Bunbury highway) is likely to be closed.

Motorists should avoid the area and be aware of fire and emergency services personnel working on site

The bushfire is uncontrolled and is moving fast in a westerly direction through bushland.

Fire crews are on their way to the scene.
