The remnants of Cyclone Narelle have brought a respite from the hot and humid conditions which have prevailed over much of the South West for the past fortnight.
Bunbury had experienced a maximum of 24.3 degrees until 3pm yesterday, well down on the average maximum of 29.8 for this month so far.
Narelle also brought some light rain to the city, with 0.4mm recorded between 9am and 3pm yesterday.
The drizzle brought Bunbury’s total January rainfall to 2mm, still well down on the long term January average of 12.3mm.
A cold front is expected to keep temperatures in the South West down until Saturday.'The West Australian' is a trademark of West Australian Newspapers Limited 2013.
