Man in coma after Capel stabbing

A stabbing victim is in a critical but stable condition at Royal Perth Hospital after an altercation in Capel last night.

The 40-year-old man was one of four men were allegedly involved in a fight on Dunkley Street.

St John Ambulance called the police at 8.38pm and the man was first taken to Bunbury Regional Hospital and then flown to Perth.

Last reports from police say he was in a medically-induced coma.

Police say enquiries are continuing.
