Eager fishers braved the early morning waters today for their first shot at this season’s recreational rock lobster catch.
Aven Hastie headed out at 5.30am and returned three hours later with the prize catch, one of the first crayfish of the season for Bunbury.
Fishers are being helped to get their share of this year’s catch with changes to rock lobster laws. They now have an increased bag limit and more licensed fishers can travel on one boat.
