Busselton Senior Sergeant Steve Principe has warned residents of the hazards of using new synthetic cannabis drugs such as Venom.
It was reported this week that the new drug was being sold legally in WA, after the State Government banned several synthetic cannabinoids last year.
However, Sen. Sgt Principe advised people against using such drugs.
“You don’t know what chemicals are being used. In the past we’ve had several deaths in the use of synthetic drugs (so) be careful in taking the risk of using it,” he said.'The West Australian' is a trademark of West Australian Newspapers Limited 2013.
