Bunbury Police have issued a warning to drivers to not drink and drive after four people had their licences disqualified at the weekend.
New laws which came into effect at the start of this month mean anyone caught driving with a blood alcohol limit of 0.08 or more will immediately be issued a licence disqualification for two months.
Acting officer-in-charge Sgt Phil Nation said the number of disqualifications were not acceptable.
‘‘People need to be using taxis and not running the risk, because we have cars out there and they will stop you,’’ he said.'The West Australian' is a trademark of West Australian Newspapers Limited 2013.
