Minister responds to justice plans
New WA Police Minister Liza Harvey has responded to news the Shire of Augusta-Margaret River has nominated new justice facilities as a strategic project.
“I intend to seek further information regarding any proposal for a justice complex in Margaret River,” she said.
A new police station and courthouse were originally slated as part of the Shire civic centre complex, but funding from the WA Government was not forthcoming.Follow thewest.com.au on Twitter
