International hit Busting Out, which leaves women laughing and men gasping, will visit Margaret River for the first time this March – officially, that is.
Bev Killick, one half of the busty couple who perform the part stand-up, part-cabaret, part-musical show about women’s finer assets, explained they took a detour to the region last time they visited WA.
“I don’t think we’ve played there before but we had three days off at a tour one time there, and all the cast and crew hired a coach and we had the best time, ” she said.
Recently selling out seasons in Los Angeles and London, Busting Out features bouncy songs, wobbly jokes, thigh-slapping sketches and, of course, practical demonstrations of the fascinating lesser-known uses of women’s drooping assets. Although Killick described the show as “pure entertainment” she said it also had a more lasting effect.
“It’s really liberating for the audience and us.
“We do bare all, but there’s no shame … It’s really about loving what you’ve got, and for some women this is the first time they can have a good long laugh at breasts, ” she said.
Busting Out comes to Margaret River Cultural Centre on March 14.
