Goodfellas and the Margies pizza shops might soon have to do battle with Dominos, as the company confirmed recent rumours it’s looking to move into the new Woolworths complex.
Dominos’ James Colling said although no signatures had been put on the dotted line, the pizza franchise was keen to set up shop in Margaret River.
“Yes, we have been involved in discussions with Woolworths, however nothing has been signed unconditionally, ” Mr Colling said.
“It is a town that we are motivated to get into, however (we’re) still on the hunt for a suitable operator for the business to ensure the business has the best possible success moving forward into the future.”
The news follows a recent statement that Augusta’s popular Colourpatch Cafe could set up shop at the Willmott Avenue centre along with a fitness centre.Woolworths Australia recently said the complex was now on track for an April opening.
