Capes clean up at Gold Plate Awards

After months of judging and critique, Capes eateries have cleaned up at the 2012 Gold Plate Awards at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre on last Monday night.

Announced by the Catering Institute of Australia, Xanadu Wines and Bunkers Beach Café were hailed in the Prix D’ Honours class for winning their respective categories of Regional Restaurant within a Winery and Regional Licensed Café for three or more consecutive years.

Other winners included The Studio Bistro for best Regional Licensed Dining and Knee Deep Wines for Regional Restaurant with a Winery while Sandalford Winery claimed the accolade in the Venue Caterers category.
