After nearly six days of working around the clock, Telstra workers have repaired two damaged cables on Stuart Street in Bunbury.

Hundreds of business were disrupted in the past week after roadwork contractors damaged Telstra cables and left about 1500 customers without landline phone connections.
Telstra South West area general manager Boyd Brown apologised on behalf of the company.
‘‘I would like to apologise once again for the inconvenience caused to residents and in particular businesses,’’ Mr Brown said.
Mr Brown said the repairs were completed at about 7.30am on Tuesday, two days earlier than expected, with workers from Albany, Busselton, Mandurah as well as fibre optic experts from South Australia coming in to help out.'The West Australian' is a trademark of West Australian Newspapers Limited 2013.
