Thunder seal naming rights

Halls Head Community Bank branch director Ian Ilsley and chairman David Waddell with Peel Thunder president John Ditchburn and chief executive Russell Clark.

Peel Thunder will continue to play their home games at Bendigo Bank Stadium for at least the next three seasons after signing a naming rights extension with the Halls Head Community Bank branch last week.

The announcement represents the fourth term the Bank has sponsored Peel’s Rushton Park headquarters.

Thunder president John Ditchburn hailed the announcement and said the deal was an important milestone for the club.

‘‘We would just like to really thank the Halls Head Community Bank branch for being part of our club,’’ Ditchburn said.

‘‘The common link for us is community.’’

Halls Head Community Bank branch chairman David Waddell said the bank was proud to support the local club and the surrounding community.

‘‘We just feel part of the Peel Thunder family and are happy to partner the football club,’’ he said.
