Rockingham City were brought back to earth with a 5-2 loss to neighbours Mandurah in the latest round of State League Division 1 soccer fixtures.
Rockingham headed into the match on the back of a four-game unbeaten run in the league, while Mandurah’s early form had faltered after consecutive losses. However, the Dolphins proved too strong at Lark Hill with a convincing performance.
The result lifts Mandurah to fourth, while Rockingham drop to seventh.
City have the benefit of a bye this weekend ahead of home clash against Morley Windmills on June 2.'The West Australian' is a trademark of West Australian Newspapers Limited 2013.
