Team prepares for a ‘shark attack’

The Dampier Sharks held a recruitment drive at Centro Karratha last Sunday.

The Sharks are preparing for a “Shark Attack” this year and were selling merchandise and drafting new players into the team.

Coach Peter Morrissey said Dampier was a great club to be involved in.

The Sharks will be holding another stall tomorrow night at the shopping centre.

A social get-together is being held at Windy Ridge Oval in Dampier this Friday for new and past players.

Pre-season training will begin this Sunday with a beach run at Hearsons Cove at 9am and another one will be held at the same place on Wednesday at 6pm.

Regular training will then be held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at Dampier’s home-ground.
