Police believe wet weather may have played a part when a car collided with a truck on Great Northern Highway last week.
While no one was seriously injured in the incident, police estimated damage to the vehicles to be more than $3000.
According to South Hedland police, the driver of the car was travelling from Port to South Hedland about noon on Friday when he lost control of his Holden Commodore.
Police said the car hit a small truck heading in the opposite direction front on.
Both cars had to be towed from the scene.
Police said the two male drivers complained of minor pain from the incident.
The crash caused minor delays along Great Northern Highway for a short period of time.
