Lives and homes were threatened last week when an uncontrollable bushfire raged near Coconut Well.
About 30 career and volunteer Bush Fire Service, Volunteer Fire Service and Department of Environment and
Conservation firefighters from three brigades battled the blaze, which started last Tuesday.
A FESA spokeswoman said he fire burned north of Coconut Well near McGuigan and Lawrence roads and escalated when it jumped the fire break.
FESA issued a bushfire watch and act alert for people in the area. But emergency crews contained the fire on Wednesday morning. There was no loss of infrastructure.
The fire was believed to have been caused by lightning.
