The Anglican Schools Commission WA is inviting parents to register their interest in enrolling their children to Broome’s proposed Anglican school which could open in 2014.
The new co-educational primary and secondary school, announced by ASC last year, would be the Anglican school in Broome and could provide more academic options for families and students.
The school is subject to government approval and would be located on 12ha of land owned by ASC at Fairway Drive in Broome North.
ASC chief executive Peter Laurence said the original proposal for the school had changed to cater for pre-primary and secondary aged pupils.
“Our demographics report showed there is a young population in Broome and there is a need for education in the early years,” he said. “We also looked at the costs of development in Broome and found the most expensive schooling is secondary.”To register your interest, complete the form on page 16 of the Broome Advertiser and return it to the ASC by Friday, July 27.
