A light truck driver escaped unharmed after he lost control of his vehicle and rolled it late last week.
Albany police Senior Constable John Carberry said the male driver lost control of the truck after rounding a bend during wet weather last Friday morning.
The truck slid out and hit the shoulder of the road before flipping on its side, Sen. Const. Carberry said.
Friday’s incident happened on Menang Drive, near the corner of Kinjarling Road in Willyung. Sen. Const. Carberry said the driver had said he was not speeding and was doing only 70km/h in the 90km/h zone.
