Holiday travel plans were thrown into disarray on Christmas eve due to flight delays at Kalgoorlie-Boulder Airport.
Skywest's 8.40am flight on Monday was delayed by three hours because of technical issues which required a replacement plane to be flown in from Perth.
Many passengers planning to catch flights interstate to spend Christmas with family subsequently missed their connections.
A Skywest spokesperson said a pressurisation fault was responsible for the delay.
“The aircraft identified the fault around 8am just before landing in Kalgoorlie,” he said.
