Stunning batting collapse by Norths

A stunning batting collapse has handed Veterans an easy victory over North Kalgoorlie in the latest round of Kalgoorlie-Boulder Cricket Association matches.

Set 163 for victory by Veterans, North Kalgoorlie reached 25 without loss, before a sensational collapse had them reeling at 6-33.

With the match effectively over as a contest, North Kalgoorlie continued to lose wickets despite the best efforts of Matthew Reilly.

The number eight was the only batsmen to take it up to the Veterans bowlers, hitting four fours and three sixes on his way to a well-made 55.

For Veterans, Jason Murphy was the pick of the bowlers with 3-41, while Brett Royle and David and Sogoma Momo each took two wickets.
