An all-round team performance has enabled Boulder to defeat Kalgoorlie in a hard-fought match in the Under 16 Goldfields Football League junior competition at the weekend.
In trying conditions, Boulder held a slender five-point lead at the main break before Kalgoorlie turned for home – three points the better.
However, a three goal to one final term saw the Tigers overrun the Roos by 10 points – handing the black and gold their fourth win of the year.
Callum Martin was named best afield for the Tigers with Dean Haynes providing great support.
Campbell Dorotich was best for Kalgoorlie, booting four goals.The remaining Under 16 fixture between Saints and Railways will take place today.
