Mick Rowell and Matt Iwankiw took the AA grade honours at the Eastern Goldfields Gun Club’s night shoot on Saturday.

The club erected temporary light towers – donated by Terra Drilling, On Site and Ausdrill – which allowed the meeting to go ahead.

Rowell was victorious in the AA division with 24 out of 25 in the opening 25 double barrel event.

Jayden Vodden (25/25) captured the A grade win and Greg Smith (23/25) was the winner in the combined B and C grade event.

The 25 double barrel points score event was won by Iwankiw, who scored 70/75 in the AA grade division.

Brendan Vodden (63/75) was the A grade winner and B/C grade went to Bernie Mazza (52/75).

The club’s next shoot will be held on Sunday, March 4.
