Lake View staged a stunning comeback to upset second-placed Great Boulder in Goldfields reserves cricket on Sunday.
On the ropes at 6-39, Lake View rallied through Englishman Chris Graham (49) and Paul Wilcock (27 not out) to post 9-169 and bowl out Great Boulder for 119.
Slow bowlers Peter Rogerson (4-35) and Andrew Herl, who took 3-0 bowling a combination of leg-spin and off-spin, did the bulk of the damage for Lake View.
First drop Brodie Dellar played a virtual lone hand for Great Boulder with a fighting 43. It was the Viewers’ third win from their past four games and sealed a finals berth.
Hannans have now assumed outright top spot in the reserves standings after they easily accounted for North Kalgoorlie on Sunday.'The West Australian' is a trademark of West Australian Newspapers Limited 2012.
