Another big haul from Sarah Tagliaferri led CBC to their third straight win in Friday’s round of the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Basketball Association’s Division 1 women’s competition.

Tagliaferri, who was coming off game-high hauls of 18 and 23 points, was again on song in offence with 23 points in Friday’s 71-52 win over Olympians.

CBC blew the game wide open in the third period, extending their lead from 37-26 at half-time to 54-37 at the final change.

The win represented CBC’s 14th win from 16 games, with one qualifying round remaining before the finals.

Elly McKay and Gaby Clancy were also influential, with 12 points each on Friday, while Clare Holmwood was another of CBC’s best players with 11 points.
