Year 7 and 8 students at John Paul College began using their brand new iPads on Monday.
A program was set up by JPC to allow parents to buy the iPads at a discounted price for their children.
A spokesman from the IT Department said JPC was making sure it kept up with metropolitan schools and ensured students had the best education opportunities.
“The program is still in its trial stage at the moment but it seems to be going very well so far,” he said.“iPads are really easy to use, they’re self explanatory and students don’t need much time to learn how to use them.”
