A Kalgoorlie-Boulder couple are claimed to be responsible for a young child suffering serious injuries.
It is alleged while in the care of the two adults the 19-month-old child received multiple fractures to his legs and arms and bruising to his body.
The child also allegedly lost two-thirds of his body weight during a two-month period.
Child Abuse Squad Detectives have charged a woman and her de facto partner for failing to protect a child from harm.
An 18-year-old woman – aged 17 at the time in question – will appear in the Kalgoorlie Children’s Court on March 5.Her de facto partner – a 21-year-old man – will appear in the Kalgoorlie Magistrates Court on March 4.
