Girls to lose locks for worthy cause

Two Kalgoorlie-Boulder girls will be giving up something they love to help find a cure for cancer.

Amber Royle and Emma Porter are fed up with watching the illness take lives and are calling for support to help raise funds for the Cancer Council WA.

Both girls will be shaving their hair, right down to a number one, in St Barbara’s Square on March 9.

The girls aim to raise $10,000 which will go towards research, support for families and palliative care.

To make things more exciting, the pair have decided whoever donates the most money will be able to do the honours of shaving their heads.
