Campaign under way

Kalgoorlie Miner February 4, 2013, 9:35 am

Friday night saw the campaign launch for WA National Party candidate for Kalgoorlie Wendy Duncan.

Supporters and family of Mrs Duncan congregated at Hoover’s Café for the launch ahead of the WA State election in March, including retiring MLA for the seat John Bowler and Nationals WA Leader Brendon Grylls.

Speeches focused on Mrs Duncan’s work in delivering benefits to regional Australia through the Royalties for Regions scheme.

Mr Grylls said the coming election was the most important he had been involved in, with big implications for regional WA.

Mr Grylls highlighted the upgrades to Kalgoorlie Hospital as representing the kind of infrastructure spending important to the region.
