Strike action only option

The Australian Nursing Federation believes industrial action is the only remaining option in the fight for higher wages.

ANF secretary Mark Olson said the State Government would have one more chance to table an offer before action began.

“We’re having another meeting on January 30 and if I was them I’d be making an offer,” he said.

The ANF met with the Government for the second round of negotiations on Wednesday.
