Friends have paid tribute to late Kalgoorlie Miner photographer Tony Holmes with a new portrait now on display at Chunky Timbers.
Mr Holmes passed away on November 23, 2011, after a battle with cancer.
The portrait was created by local artist Adele Workman-Davies from an idea by Chunky Timbers owner Kim Gent.
“Tony was a really good friend of mine. When I first started up my fish and chip shop Tony and I were in partnership,” Mr Gent said.
“It was 12 months since he passed away and my fiancée and I were talking about getting a portrait done. We thought it would be nice.”Mrs Workman-Davies created the portrait, with coloured pastels and charcoal.
