Ex-gratia payments

The State Government has advertised ex-gratia payments for people who were abused at country high school hostels.

People who were abused at hostels can apply for payments of up to $45,000 for incidents between 1960 and 2006.

The list of places covered by the compensation payments include State-run hostels across regional WA.

It also includes Goldfields Hostel and Kalgoorlie Residential College, in Kalgoorlie, and the Esperance Residential College.

Applications must be made by May 31.
