Boulder Primary School students recently joined forces to present a large donation of food to the Salvation Army.
The children contributed a variety of items and produced about 15 boxes of donations, which principal Mark Hendon said was a fantastic effort.
“The kids were really enthusiastic and I was happy to help them in their role,” Mr Hendon said.
“We try and teach the students to be community and civic minded and we’ve done a number of things this year to raise community awareness.
“These are intrinsic values for the students to learn.”'The West Australian' is a trademark of West Australian Newspapers Limited 2013.
