With the Country Arts WA Regional Arts National Conference to be held in Kalgoorlie-Boulder in 2014, Artgold is encouraging local artists and not-for-profit groups to sign up to its database.
Artgold chairwoman Donna Malec said the organisation would be working closely with CAWA in the lead up to the conference.
“They might ask us ‘do you know any artists for this?’ and we can search through our database and give them some names,” she said.
Becoming a member of Artgold is very easy – for $10 you receive a membership package that includes a membership card which can score you discounts in some local stores, a window sticker, an information brochure, upcoming events form, membership form for friends, marketing tips package and funding tips package.
Artgold will also be holding a lot of workshops early next year.On January 30, Artgold will partner with the Goldfields-Esperance Development Commission and the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder to present a workshop for members.
