Christmas is undoubtedly a time of giving and a space should always be left under the tree for our furry friends.
Avid pet owner Lauren Chapman-Holle said her three Jack Russells – one of which belongs to her parents – will be unwrapping presents on this special day.
Ms Chapman-Holle said it was important to be sensible when choosing a gift.
She recommends something people would purchase for their pets anyway.
“Remember they can only play with one toy at once,” she said.
“Something like a new squeaky toy if their old one has lost its squeak, a new lead or collar or a bigger bed are always great ideas.”'The West Australian' is a trademark of West Australian Newspapers Limited 2013.
