Thanks to the generosity of Auto One, the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Men’s Shed is safer than ever. Each year the locally owned and operated Auto One business donates to a worthy local cause.
This year, manager Russell Mizen chose the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Men’s Shed, donating a brand new portable heavy duty engine crane.
Men’s Shed supervisor Tex Moore said the crane would be a big help.
“It is just what we need,” he said. “We have difficulties on occasion with lifting the heavier items on and off the floor, the crane enables us to do so with ease.
“I would seriously like to thank Auto One for their generous donation, I know the equipment isn’t cheap.”
The engine crane is worth $440 and can carry up to 500kg.'The West Australian' is a trademark of West Australian Newspapers Limited 2013.
