McFadden brings Christmas cheer

Former Westlife star Brian McFadden joined forces with the Kalgoorlie Primary School choir on Friday night for a Christmas sing-along at the Kalgoorlie Train Station.

The Irish singer-songwriter was this year’s celebrity artist performing free events across the Nullarbor Plain for the annual Indian Pacific Outback Christmas event.

The Christmas train has seen acts like Jessica Mauboy last year and Guy Sebastian, Marcia Hines, Jimmy Barnes and Shannon Noll over the years.

Now in its 12th year, the event raises awareness and funds for the Royal Flying Doctor Service while providing regional towns with the chance to see some of the best-known artists.
