Woman suffers seizure while driving

A woman suffered an epileptic fit and crashed her ute through a fence on Hannan Street yesterday morning.

Sergeant John Strong said about 8.30am the 22-year-old had a seizure while turning from Throssell Street onto Hannan Street.

She veered off the road into a metal railing and was just coming out of the seizure when officers arrived.

She was taken to Kalgoorlie Hospital for treatment and later released.

Sgt Strong said her Holden ute was impounded for 28 days because she was driving on a suspended licence.
