Street fest a hit in Boulder

Boulder locals kicked back with a couple of "coldies" yesterday at the annual Back to Boulderfest.

Lederhosen and beer mugs were in good supply as the city celebrated its European history with an Oktoberfest-themed street festival.

Boulder Promotions and Development Associated co-ordinator Danielle Stones said a good crowd turned out for what proved to be a great day.

“It was wonderful,” Ms Stones said.

“We had over 60 stalls; lots of great entertainment. We sold out of beer mugs by about lunchtime.”
