McDonald’s second restaurant in Kalgoorlie-Boulder will open in December and is on the lookout for employees.

Franchisee Scott Gunson said it would provide 70 new jobs.

“Right now it is focused on recruitment, ” he said.

“Maccas has some sensational training.

“We are well known for our training and every single person who works at McDonald’s learns skills that are life skills.

“Whether it is your first job, or you are a mum looking for some extra hours, there are no age restrictions.”

Of the 130 staff employed at McDonald’s on Boulder Road, only 30 are under the age of 18.

The new restaurant is being constructed on the corner of Brookman and Lane streets.
